Inspire a generation

Last Monday 6th August 2012 was a momentous day for young people from the Round House project. They were delighted to be given free tickets to the Olympics, courtesy of sported., the UK’s leading sport for development charity, established by Sir Keith Mills, Chief Executive of the 2012 Olympic bid team and Deputy Chairman of LOCOG.

The idea of the trip was to inspire young people in Stoke-on-Trent to take up Olympic sports such as Boxing and Taekwondo, following in the footsteps of British heroes, Nicola Adams and Jade Jones. Take a look at our precious memories from this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
