Engage Football Tournament. Saturday, 16th Nov 2013.

Engage Communities hosted a free five-a-side football tournament on Saturday 16th November 2013 at Dimensions Leisure Centre. The tournament had more than 200 young people taking part and helping out as volunteers. Winners of each of the 3 age groups were given free tickets to watch Port Vale win 3-1 against Shrewsbury. Port Vale also donated trophies to all the winning team members, which were presented by the local MP Joan Walley. The local Police and Stoke-on-Trent City Council also supported the event organised by Engage Communities which aims to keep young people off the streets and provide positive alternative activities.
