‘Let’s Kick Racism Out of Football’

Six young people represented Engage Communities at the exciting Stoke City v Liverpool game played on Sunday 12th January at the Britannia Stadium. Our young people carried the ‘Let’s Kick Racism Out of Football’ flag onto the centre circle at the Britannia. The young people received an astounding round of applause from all corners of the stadium. Our young people stayed on the pitch whilst football legends such as England & Liverpool captain showed an appreciation to the young people for their efforts. All of them then watched a thrilling game of football with Liverpool winning 5 – 3 over Stoke City. Unfortunately this time the score did not go Stoke City’s way nevertheless it was an entertaining game and fantastic opportunity for the kids at Engage.
