YOUNG VOLUNTEERS GO PAINTBALLING 2014

Engage Communities young volunteers were rewarded with a trip during half term on Wednesday 28th May 2014 to paintballing as recognition and a thank you for all the hard work put in volunteering over the last year.  The young volunteers themselves requested paintballing as the activity for their incentive.  The paintballing trip was funded through The Co-operative StreetGames Young Volunteers Project.  The day was very popular and helped our young volunteers to implement key transferable skills such as strategy, teamwork, leadership and communication.

One example of our young volunteers is 14 year old Ayman Matloob, please see attached picture of Ayman.  He is our star cameraman and social media expert.  Ayman can often be found at Engage events with his trigger happy finger on the camera taking 100 pictures per second.  Ayman put down the camera to make good use of his trigger happy finger at paintball.

The photos were taken, edited and uploaded by our young volunteer, Ayman Matloob, age 14 in our gallery section here http://goo.gl/EkgE83
