7v7 Charity Football Tournament. Saturday, 11 April 2015
Engage Communities in partnership with Stoke City Community Trust held a 7v7 Charity Football Tournament on Saturday 11th April 2015 at Staffordshire University. The tournament was organised to help raise money for the charity Stepping Stones Community Nursery. Stepping Stones had suffered from a burglary losing thousands of pounds worth of Nursery equipment and educational resources. The tournament entry fee was £100 per team with £200 prize money going towards the winning team. In total 7 teams entered including a team from Redditch raising a total of £700 for the charity. The winners of the tournament Engage FC donated their £200 prize money back to the charity Stepping Stones. The winners also received trophies and Stoke City match tickets.
